Find your Samsung TV model number before requesting a used-TV assessment. Screen size and brand alone do not identify your set precisely. Send the complete model code so the buyer can distinguish it from similar-looking models, together with its condition and included accessories.
Find your Samsung TV model number in the TV menu
If your TV works, its information screen can be easier to reach than a rear label. Samsung’s guidance for recent sets uses Settings → All Settings → Support → About TV. Look for the model or model-code field and copy the complete code. Menu names vary by model and region; Samsung explains this information screen here.
Some older sets use a shorter route through Settings and Support to an About this TV screen. If your menu looks different, use the manual for that particular set rather than assuming the television has no model information. Samsung’s model-number guide includes older menu variations.
Use the product label when it is accessible
The label on the television can also identify its model. Photograph it clearly enough to read the complete code. If you send a photo, cover personal information or account details that do not help identify the item.
Do not take a wall-mounted television down just to read the label. Try the on-screen information first. If neither is accessible, tell the buyer what you can identify and explain that the exact code is unavailable.
Send the model with the actual condition
A model code cannot show how a particular television has been used or whether its screen is damaged. Include:
- The complete model code and screen size.
- A full front photograph and a powered-on screen photo where possible.
- An honest description of picture, sound, marks and known faults.
- The remote, stand, power cable and any missing accessories.
- Your Dubai area, collection floor and access details.
If you have several TVs, label each set and match it to its photographs. This prevents details from one television being used to assess another.
